Boy!  Things have been getting busy in the real world. My job and personal life are constantly trying to get in the way of my podcasting dreams. As someone who is obsessed with the podcast world, I do realize that consistent content is crucial to building a larger following. So, I will do my best to keep the podcast going every two weeks. To be honest, the podcast has become something that I am really proud of.  I feel like I am doing good work and that I am getting better at it every podcast.

Deadlines are great reasons to keep the creative juices flowing.  The past few months have shown me that the Sisyphus Effect Podcast is definitely a worthwhile venture.  I know that I have some dedicated listeners and I hope to get more as the journey continues.

Thank you all for listening.

You can interact with the podcast in several ways.  Follow our new Twitter account @Sisyphuseffect and send us e-mails at sisyphuseffectpodast@gmail.com.

I am working on getting a new logo from a professional and looking into creating a specific website for the podcast.  All of this takes time and money, but it will be well worth it.

Episode 8 of the podcast is a conversation with Andrew Moss.  He discusses the importance of JRR Tolkien on just about everything in his life. We talk about The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Silmarillion.  Of course you can't talk about Tolkien without getting into the inadequacies of the films (to be fair - there are some decent parts).  The podcast is also full of many JRR Tolkien facts and stories. Andrew explains why he thinks Tolkien is a superior writer to other contemporary fantasy novelists. Do you agree with him?   Listen in for a journey through Mordor!

Episode 7 - Kat Veach

BIF! BAM! POW!

This week on The Sisyphus Effect Podcast, we get violent!  Sean was in the mood for some ultra violence, so he brought in his friend Kat Veach to talk about her favorite blood sport, Muay Thai boxing. The two discuss the sport and Kat explains what it's like to be a woman in a male dominated pastime.  The discussion also focuses on her first tournament and she explains the process of cutting lots of weight.  If you have ever wondered what it is like to eat nothing for days and then have a scary person try to crush you, this is the podcast for you! She also describes what was going through her mind during her first real fight.  Does she win!?  You'll have to listen to find out.

Kat is also an academic who focuses on religion and hip hop music, so she definitely has a unique perspective on her amateur career as a fighter.
